EBOLA: BA To Continue With Flight Ban To Liberia:

Citi Business News has learnt that British Airways (BA) will continue to suspend flights to Liberia and Sierra Leone till the end of the year.

BA had earlier announced it had suspended flights to and from Liberia and Sierra Leone due to the Ebola outbreak hammering on issues of health, safety of its customers, crew and ground teams.

It had however asserted that it will review the decision in August.
But Citi Business News has gathered the suspension will run till December after which the airline will review the decision again.

British Airways, before the suspension, was operating four flights a week between Heathrow Airport and Monrovia, Liberia, with a stopover in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
The airline has asked customers with tickets booked on those routes to come for a refund, rebook for a later date, or rearrange to fly out of Ghana, Kenya or Nigeria.
The Ebola virus has killed over 1,400 people in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
